  8.  Set alarm date to default date has been added.
  9.  A nasty bug involving the time/date/alarm time/alarm date set functions has 
  10.  been fixed.

  13. I. What is and what will be Control Panel Plus?
  14.  
  15. Control Panel Plus is a $HAREWARE DA which basicly combines the
  16. features of the "old" and "new" Control Panel's from Apple.  The current
  17. version 0.85 is still missing quite a few features which will be implemented.  
  18. Among them are:
  19.  
  20.  Desktop pattern
  21.  AppleTalk Connected
  22.  
  23. and possibly:
  24.  
  25.  Preferred Startup Disk
  26.  Default Application Font
  27.  
  28.  When will the next version be available?  Well, I don't like promising
  29. dates, so I won't.  Due to a recent substance abuse "problem" of mine (no, not
  30. alcohol or controlled substances...but telecommunications) I've been having
  31. trouble keeping to schedules.

  33.  When the next version becomes available, registered owners will be sent
  34. a notice to that effect and an oportunity to update by mail or just d/l it from
  35. a BBS or a timesharing service.

  37.  Control Panel Plus DA's operation should be self explanatory.  Install
  38. it with F/DA Mover and click on the various controls.  When setting the time,
  39. date, alarm time or alarm date, command-clicking on the +/- buttons will
  40. in/decrease in units of 10.

  63. Speaking of LaserBoard, in my opinion, it's the best Mac BBS in the NYC area.
  64. Give it a try if you have PC Pursuit, live in NYC or if u don't mind the
  65. expense of a long distance call.  As a matter of fact, the original idea of
  66. Control Panel Plus was that of LaserBoard's system operator, Stuart Gitlow.
